Dr Reza Sabetghadam

Director and Consultant Occupational and Environmental Physician

Dr Reza Sabetghadam is a highly regarded medical specialist and emerging leader in the field of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. After graduating from Tehran University in 2002 with his Doctor of Medicine degree, he continued advancing his qualifications in Australia. In 2007,  he completed a Masters in Health Services Management  and in 2011 a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety.   Dr Sabetghadam became a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational & Environmental Medicine, as well as achieving certification as an Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME), Medical Review Officer (MRO), Certified Permanent Impairment Assessor (AMA 4th, 5th & 6th editions).

In addition to his impressive list of qualifications, Dr Sabetghadam is an approved Independent Medical Examiner (IME) and Permanent Impairment Assessor (PI) across multiple states in Australia, including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory and ACT. 

His particular medical interests include fitness for work assessments and multi trauma assessments for employers, insurers and legal professionals. Through the process of independent medical examinations over the years he obtained great deal of experience and skills in assessing the examinees in bio-psycho-social model which requires a detailed history taking, comprehensive examination and particular attention to the reinforcers of pain.
