Fees and payment
OccPhyz Consulting’s fee structure is in accordance with AMA fees or Workers’ Compensation fees relating to each jurisdiction.
We do not bulk bill.
Treating Referrals
If your referral to our doctors comes from your treating GP or Specialist, Medicare rebate item numbers 385 or 386 apply for your consultation. Payment of our consultation fee is payable on the day of your appointment.
A letter from your OEP is sent to your treating GP or specialist. No fee applies here.
Independent Referrals
If your referral is from your insurer, employer or legal representative, or for a 2nd opinion relating to your claim, full payment is required and there is no rebate from Medicare or Private Health Funds permitted.

Reports
Our medico-legal reports for independent opinion/assessment are billed at private fee rates. Pre-consultation and preparation of report reading time is billed at an hourly rate. No rebates available.
We can provide you with a quote for the services to be provided. Please advise when making your appointment.
Invoices/Payments
Private or third party invoices will be sent by email to your referrer. Payment is requested within 7 days. We accept cash, direct deposit, Visa card or MasterCard only. Upon receipt of payment, your report will be released to your referrer.
